A parent to an autistic child makes her a full-time mom, yet Neena Wagh manages to follow her passions as a poet, playwright and Hindi language translator, and also make a world of a difference to the lives of others. Actively involved with Autism Advocacy from the past 20 years, she has to her credit spearheading the team for setting up the Autism website for the National Trust; writing and talking on issues related to parenting and Assisted Living at various forums.

A trained montessorian, a special educator, a facilitator in her son's homemade chocolate venture, Sach Di’lites, and above all, a mom to her special son… She does all of that and still loves to sneak out time to be with her own self!

Krishna Das, head, Pallavanjali Institure, is also the founder trustee of the NGO, Astha India. Having worked extensively with young adults from the economically weaker section, she has led many innovative programs dealing with skill development and subsequent employment of people with special abilities from the marginalized communities. Presently, she heads the Career Training programme where she works with the 18+ age group, and has been instrumental in setting up a full-fledged in-house Café at Pallavanjali, with an aim to generate employment for young adults with special needs.

Prof Meenakshi Malhotra,from Hansraj College, Delhi University, has edited two textbooks on life narratives. Her most recent work is a coedited book on The Gendered Body in South Asia:Negotiation, Resistance, Struggle (2024). Her other publications include articles in JIWS (Journal of International Womens Studies) and Indialogs, in books like Making the Woman(Routledge 2023), WGS in India: Crossings (Routledge,2019), and more.
